| August 2005: "Romeria" Pilgrimage to Cartago |
| Students trekked almost 15km with Heather & James to Cartago for the annual "Romeria" holiday. Thousands of Ticos made the sacrificial journey for days to reach the legendary church in Cartago where they enter on their knees to ask for blessing. It was a very enriching experience for students to see the dedication & faith of the Costa Rican people. |
