We had a blast and a very productive time--learning about flora, fauna, & family
interdependence, sharing, setting goals, & working as a team.

Thanks for sharing these moments with us! We hope you enjoyed the photos!
Our 2nd integrated Aventura of 2005 took place
in May at Corcovado National Park.
Andy (experiential ed), Danny (therapeutics),
and James (academics) took the entire school
on a week-long hiking and camping trip through
one of the most beautiful, pristine natural
reserves in Costa Rica.

This was one of our most successful Aventuras
yet as students enjoyed...
  • hiking & camping
  • bathing in rivers (until they spotted a
    crocodile!)
  • spotting endangered species & warding
off a pack of wild boars!
  • reflective solo time
  • team-building therapeutic activities
  • integrating therapeutic studies of family
    dynamics with academic studies of
    interdependent ecosystems
