Alex Obando has been studying biology and sciences for years. First receiving a Bachelor's
degree in Marine Biology from National University, Alex is currently completing his thesis for his
Masters Degree in Coastal Marine Sciences as well. Besides making time for his wife and
daughter, Alex is very busy with his studies and research projects!
Alex's desire to create more exciting science classes by using Gardner's Multiple Intelligences
Theory is a great match for NSA's academic goals. Years of hands-on lab experience, service in
the Costa Rican Coast Guard Stations, research projects throughout Costa Rica as well as
teaching science at an international high school makes Alex Obando a great addition to our
teaching faculty.
