Atenas, Costa Rica

Atenas is located in the mountains between San Jose and the Pacific Coast. The climate was named by National Geographic as one of the best in the world as it is warm and sunny during the daytime and cool and breezy at night. Our campus is located 25 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from universities and city resources in downtown San Jose, and one hour from the Pacific beaches.

The campus itself is a large stretch of beautifully landscaped, secure, private land bordered by a river, a fishing pond, and mango & orange trees.

The main house hosts offices, a living room and media area, a computer / internet area, a laundry room, bathrooms, and a kitchen. The classroom building hosts classrooms, a rec room, and two large dorm rooms with full bathrooms. In addition, there are 5 more student cabins with full baths in each cabin for dorm living. Outdoors, we enjoy a soccer field, a pool, orange, lime, and mango tree groves, an organic garden, and a large, outdoor, covered BBQ patio with kitchen ("the rancho") where we eat our meals.
