| Students embarked on a week-long SCUBA certification adventure in beautiful Bocas del Toro, Panama. All but one student achieved certification, & another student became a certified advanced diver. Congrats! |
| From the Costa Rican Bribri tribe to the Kuna Indians of Panama to the Incan Empire, NSA students are learning a lot about indigenous cultures & their history, culture, traditions, spirituality & communities throughout this month's intensive study term. |
| 4 students participated in NSA's Spring 2006 Graduation Ceremony. All four are enrolled in colleges for the upcoming fall term, including A. at University of San Francisco and T. at University of Nevada. Congratulations! |

| Nov '06: Thanksgiving Family Workshop |

| 13 NSA families joined their sons, their son's homestay families, and the NSA family for a long weekend of family sessions and Thanksgiving celebrations! It was an absolutely wonderful weekend, and we can't wait for next year! |

| January is an "intensive study" months. Students have been getting crash courses in outdoor risk management & safety, sexual education, and food preparation & nutrition, not to mention salsa dancing!. They will also complete a Wilderness First Aid Certification course! |
| Once again, we had a wonderful celebration with our homestay families in order to thank them for being our students' adoptive families while they study in Costa Rica. Their love & support makes the Costa RIcan experience that much more special! |
