| Students and staff completed their next Aventura incorporating personal growth goals, academic goals, and experiential education learning: |
| Thanksgiving Family Workshop |
| 13 NSA families joined their sons, their son's homestay families, and the NSA family for a long weekend of family sessions and Thanksgiving celebrations! |
| ...Courses in outdoor risk management & safety, sexual education, and food preparation & nutrition, not to mention salsa dancing!. They will also complete a Wilderness First Aid Certification course! |
| Once again, we had a wonderful celebration with our homestay families in order to thank them for being our students' adoptive families while they study in Costa Rica. |
| Congratulations to Kyle & Raegan who are graduating high school, & congratulations to Tyler, Raegan, and Everett who successfully completed the NSA program, including their academic, personal growth, and Aventura goals! We wish you the best! |

| Besides expanding our reclycling program to homestay families and internship businesses, students have begun a new "movies for kids" program, showing free children's movies at the local library. |
| Students participated in the "Tope" (horse parade & judging contest) as well as attended a typical dance and rodeo for the local fiestas this month! |

| Last weekend, students chose between going to Manuel Antonio beach for the day... or taking a tour of the famous Cafe Britt coffee roasting plantation. |

| July was filled with learning, fun activities, & a fabulous curriculum of Mayan studies to prep for our international Aventura! |
