Living in Costa Rica
Student DormsIn each of 4 total dorm houses, there are 2 large bedrooms (up to 4 students per room), a common porch area, a college-style bathroom, & a laundry room. Each student has their own space in the room with their own bed, closet, shelving, and desk area.
Student Club HouseThe club house hosts the student kitchen, internet computers, media room (TV, cable, etc.), pool table, ping pong table, arts computers, music & film studio, board games, and 4 staff offices for therapists & experiential education mentors.

Academic BuildingThe Academic Building represents an innovative learning milieu with windows looking out onto nature in each of the 5 classrooms. In addition, there is a fully equipped academic resource room and a large open gathering space.
Administrative BuildingThe Administrative Building hosts a beautiful open air dining hall, kitchen, student gym, staff offices, medical office, and Honors lounge. On any given day or night, there is a bustle of activity in this central community hall of NSA.

The Howler Music and Film Studio hosts a variety of musical instruments as well as recording equipment for students to jam or record their music. The film studio is updated with the latest film editing software to facilitate our documentary film class.

One of the best parts about being in Costa Rica is the natural beauty that surrounds us every single day! Our campus is lush with trees (mango, plantain, banana, and floral), flowers, our organic garden, and lots of garden spaces to relax in nature.
