Service Learning

The value of service learning is paramount at NSA, where students engage in various projects that they see through to completion.
Examples of recent community service ventures include:

• Playing games & doing art projects with children at the local children’s restoration home 
• Recycling programs
• Environmental conservation project
• Beach and river clean-ups
• Teaching English to local children
• Sea turtle preservation
• Preparing meals for the needy in local soup kitchens
• Building playgrounds
• Hosting weekly movie nights at the library
• Painting local schools and clinics

Hogar de Vida Children's Home

One of the causes near and dear to our hearts is Hogar de Vida Children's home where many of our students volunteer on a regular basis to give attention and love to these beautiful, resilient children. Learn more & donate here.
