Recreational Aventuras

Recreational Aventuras are offered for the group of students who do not go home on home visits during school breaks. The goal is to have fun while learning more about ourselves, each other, and the cultures in which we stay. Students typically stay in hotels or hostels and are accompanied by staff on many fun learning adventures. Several Recreational Aventuras offer a fun and safe opportunity for students to engage in healthy risk taking, which helps build confidence while teaching new skills.

  • Scuba diving in Bocas del Toro, Panama
  • Exploring Granada and Ometepe Island in Nicaragua
  • Hiking and ecotourism in Boquete, Panama
  • Touring Arenal Volcano and its thermal hot springs
  • Tubing and hot springs in Rincon de la Vieja
