In 2016, two NSA students took on the project of creating a new design and flow to our "first impression" of New Summit Academy. All of the pictures are real - none are staged. GrowOur Supportive Immersion paradigm nurtures, empowers, and guides the healthy development of one's self within a relationship-based community context. As well as building strong mentoring relationships, we empower students in structured individualized goal-planning for their future and support them in the practice of processing their progress and following through with their goals.
Families are an integral part of the process in growing alongside their sons and reconnecting, repairing relationships, and learning healthier ways of relating. Parents can join 2 Zoom parent support, educational and processing groups per week, sign up for one on one coaching for their parenting plan, join their sons for in person workshops, and connect and learn on regular in-country visits and home visits. |

ExploreImmersed in Costa Rica, opportunities to explore abound. Off campus activities include service learning, homestay immersion experiences, cultural events & activities, recreation, and Spanish language development. Our Supportive Immersion approach provides safe and engaging enrichment experiences outside of one's comfort zone in order to build skills, confidence and resilience.
Our signature Aventura program integrates academics, personal growth, and supportive immersion in nature as we venture for a week at a time in Costa Rica and other international destinations. |

LiveOur beautiful six-acre campus provides a healthy, relaxing atmosphere where students take ownership of their home through active leadership and participation. Student Council manages activities calendars, student-led clubs, mentoring, and their own budget for campus activities and improvements.
Whether playing pool in the club house or relaxing in a hammock on a dorm porch, NSA is a home away from home. The safe and supportive social environment is one crucial to personal growth and development. |
