Documents from Parents

Apostille Birth Certificate 
During the admissions process, we ask parents to start working on obtaining the apostille. They have around 85-90 days to do so. 

Return Flight Ticket
With a refundable return date after 85-90 days of your son's arrival in CR. In order to obtain the maximum tourist visa days. 

Power of Attorney
It gives us and our lawyers permission to work on the student's immigration process.

Documents obtained in CR by Staff

Fingerprints
​Diana Rojas will take the student to the Ministry of Public Security in Costa Rica for fingerprints.

Medical (Therapeutic) Criteria
Document signed by our clinical director explaining why it is necessary for the student to stay in CR for longer than 90 days. 

​Economic Solvency
Proof of their enrollment in our program.

Timeline

We will keep asking you to get your son a return flight ticket within 90 days every time he comes back from a home visit. 

Obtaining the Dimex varies, BUT even if it takes months, as long as we submit the initial documents, your son will be LEGAL to stay in the country.
